You’re a boater! Not one that is as interested in standing in lines and being told where to go and when. You’re the captain of your life and want to make a memory in the beautiful waters of Maui by exploring the cobalt blue seas that crest the pristine white beaches. While others might be happy with a totally planned, predictable boating experience, you prefer to make your own experiences. We totally understand… we’re just like you.
Hawai'i is a very special place, and Maui is our favorite island. The island is surrounded by clear blue water at a perfect temperature for snorkeling. The reefs are filled with an amazing variety of tropical fish and sea turtles. Humpback whales flock to Maui's waters for half of the year, and it’s not unusual to spot dolphins during the day. This place is full of divine connections and there truly is no better way to experience it than behind the helm of your own private yacht.
Set sail on our gorgeous Glacier Bay…
These power catamarans are perfectly suited for the waters off the coast of Maui. The semi-displacement hull design allows you to navigate the sea in a comfort that is truly unparalleled. Equipped with two powerful Yamaha 115 HP motors they give you the necessary control to handle any ocean faring condition. They boast an amazingly rigid and safe construction that will set your mind at ease while you, your family and friends enjoy the best snorkeling spots in the world. We take all the work out of your boating journey by launching, retrieving and cleaning your vessel, leaving you to simply enjoy the experience.
The absolute BEST way to Whale Watch…
Kohola, or Pacific Humpback Whales as they are known to the rest of the world, are some of the most majestic and gentle creatures on earth. People from all over the globe come to Maui to witness this awe-inspiring migration destination and many leave with life changing perspectives that change them for the better. Every year these glorious giants of the sea make their way from their cold summer home of the bearing straights, near Alaska. They bring with them one purpose, to reproduce. Whether it’s by the act of competing for a worthy mate or by giving birth to the next generation, these animals have a lot to share with the casual onlooker. Experiencing this life-altering event can truly only be done best from your own vessel.

Mahi Mahi, Ono, Ahi, and even the elusive Marlin have all hit the deck of our boats. And don’t worry, if you don’t know how to clean them, we can help with that too. Our staff are avid watermen with years of experience both fishing and navigating these waters. This is a trip not be missed…

Glacier Bay 2240 Renegade SX Floorplan
A Boat With Dual Personalities-Glacier Bay has bridged the gap between fun cruiser and serious offshore fisherman. The legendary Glacier Bay hull design, proven by various ocean crossings up to 1300 miles, has been fitted with the accoutrements of an inshore family cruiser, resulting in the new 2240 Renegade SX. The catamaran hull, which carries its ample width all the way to the bow, has two large bench seats forward of the windshield. Aft of the windshield, an L-shaped lounge with a removable table and an additional small bench seat provide plenty of seating under the optional Bimini top. The control console located to starboard features great visibility, good ergonomics, and room for electronics. The swivel helm seat provides more captain-comfort than a bench seat, lessening fatigue on long boating days. Across from the helm, the port-side console opens to reveal a utilitarian head with great storage for items that must stay dry. While the rest of the boat says fun, the large, uncluttered cockpit screams Fish On! This boat comes ready to fish with standard features including gunnel mounted rod holders, rod storage under the starboard gunnel and in the head, a tackle storage center, and a bait prep station. The 30-gallon live-well incorporated into the bench seat aft of the helmsman’s chair is standard equipment; as are a saltwater wash-down system and two fish lockers under the cockpit sole to handle the day’s catch. The transom cutout for access to the swim platform is just wide enough to serve as a step for junior boaters or a good place to sit while donning swim fins or SCUBA gear. Options for the boat include a retractable swim ladder and a fresh water system with a cockpit shower. The 2240 also features an abundance of storage and easy access for electronics installation and systems maintenance. By far the most notable feature is the boat’s ride. During sea-trials on a blustery day in Maui's Southern Bay, the boat slices through the chop without a complaint at 40 miles per hour. We found the 22-footer to be quite economical, averaging well over two miles per gallon at 35 mph. The tendency of catamarans to “lean the wrong way” in high speed turns rather disconcerting. To lessen this predisposition, Glacier Bay has canted the engines outboard. (The propellers are not directly under, but rather outboard of the center of the motors.) Top quality hardware and construction methods are employed on the 2240.

Do I need a license to drive the boat?
Yes and No! The State of Hawaii requires that all boaters undergo a boater’s safety course specific to Hawaii. However, our orientation and safety briefing satisfies the requirements by the state allowing us to issue you a single day use pass for this requirement. There is no additional charge for this pass.
Who Drives the Boat?
You are the captain of your own vessel. The person in charge of the boat must maintain control of the vessel at all times. But, this is the best part, you get to go where you want, when you want.
How many people does the boat hold?
Although the boat has a higher passenger carrying capacity, state regulations restrict the total passenger count to 6 people on board. This included all ages of children and adults.
How far in advance should I make my reservation?
Since we are the only boat rental company on Maui, we recommend making reservations as early as possible. This is especially important during Whale season, December-May and during fishing seasons between July and October.
Can I keep the boat overnight?
No. On Maui there are a limited number of slips and moorings, so there is no place to park the boat at night. There are no exceptions to this rule!
How early can I go out?
We can meet you at the Kihei Boat Ramp as early as 6 am (limitations apply) and get you on the water shortly after our orientation. Because of the Trade Winds in Hawaii, we suggest you get out on the water as early as you can. The trades usually start up sometime between 11am and 1pm. Some days they can blow up to 30 mph. Other days they don’t blow at all, but it’s best to plan on them and get an early start to any ocean activities that you have planned.
What do we do when its time to come in?
Just call us on your cell phone 30 minutes before you plan to be back. We will meet you at the dock and take the boat out of the water for you.
We Live Here!
