Scuba diving history lesson:Legend has it that Hawaiian fire goddess Pele was in love with a mo'o (lizard) prince when she found out his heart belonged with another woman. Feeling jilted, she took her revenge and cut her lover in half! The head is said to be the Pu’u Olai, a cinder cone mound on the south side of the island, and the body became the crater of Molokini!
